Core Paths
Council’s across Scotland are in the process of developing a plan for a network of core paths. These will be shown on OS maps in the future and the aim locally is to have at least one core path available from most settlements.
Eventually I hope that will grow until we will have a network of paths connecting our settlements - and then we can start to make real in-roads towards a walk/cycle culture.
However, at least we are making a start.
